Tradition meets innovation
For almost a century, Gut Metallumformung AG has been synonymous with precision and quality in metal forming. Founded in 1927 as Metalldrückerei Gottlieb Kunz, the company has continued to develop under the leadership of Gody Gut and subsequent takeovers by Mr. Widmer and then Mr. Klinger. From the introduction of deep drawing in 1968 to the use of state-of-the-art CNC technology and successful certification as the main supplier for Pilatus, Gut has always set new standards. Today, with locations in Hombrechtikon and a wide range of special technologies such as hydroforming, Gut remains a reliable partner for innovative solutions in metal processing.

1970 Foundation of a branch for mechanical processing in Bäretswil with a focus on toolmaking
1973 Move to the new building at Vordere Püntacherstrasse 3, closure of the plant in Tann-Rüti
1984 Takeover of G. Gut AG by P. Widmer
1987 Closure of the branch in Bäretswil and relocation to Stäfa

2017 Last officially recognized metal spinner trained by Gut Metallumformung AG
2020 Expansion of the quality department with a Faro measuring arm.
